About Alight & Dr Pocock
Alight is a consultancy led by Dr Naomi Pocock, specialising in providing workshops for councils, businesses, and organisations on planetary boundaries, doughnut economics, and climate change and bespoke strategic advice on how to redesign for regeneration. Sustainability is no longer 'enough'. We now need to invest time, energy and funds into regenerating our environments and communities.
Based in Waikato, New Zealand, Alight offers services both in-person and online. Our mission is to guide organisations towards regenerative impacts for people and planet.
Dr. Naomi Pocock
Founder & Consultant
Dr. Naomi Pocock brings a wealth of experience to every interaction, having worked as a management consultant for Ernst & Young, managed a multi-national project for Hewlett Packard, and run her own company in Ireland.
With a PhD that delves into concepts of 'home(s)' during major life disruptions, she has also shaped education policy and taught sustainable management at the University of Waikato at the Masters level.
Her work and research focuses on adapting to change and understanding disruption.
Naomi is dedicated to helping businesses, organisations, and NGOs proactively create safe operating spaces and mitigate planetary boundary overshoot, including climate change. She wants to ensure a decent standard of living for every New Zealander.
